Senior Dining

The Need
There are a number of senior adults in the Greater Greer area who are in need of fellowship on a daily basis. Many of these individuals live alone, have no transportation, and are in need of a daily nutritional meal.

Our Efforts
The Senior Dining Program exists to provide these senior adults with an opportunity to enjoy a warm meal, social time with friends, and inspirational entertainment. This program is motivational to these seniors who may not otherwise have a desire to even leave their homes. Some of our events include monthly birthday parties, holiday parties, and shopping trips.

You Are Needed
This program could not be possible without the volunteer support from our community. This support comes in the form of van drivers and entertainers. Our entertainment opportunities include singing, speaking, and more. Click here to see our current volunteer needs.

Interested in Joining the Program?
Our Senior Dining Program services will be provided to participants who meet the following requirements:

• Is 60 years of age or older (a younger spouse may accompany member)
• Able to walk without assistance
• Able to feed themselves
• Able to go to restroom without assistance
• Alert and will not disrupt the harmony of the entire congregate group
