| Our Programs — Meals on Wheels |
| |
| The goal of this program is to be sure no senior adult or disabled person of the Greater Greer area goes unfed. Senior adults encounter a number of conditions or factors that contribute to poor nutrition. Various chronic illnesses can limit their mobility and cause changes in their appetite and digestion. These factors, along with confusion or memory loss, can make it difficult for some seniors to prepare meals or remember to eat. |

The Meals on Wheels program provides a lunch Monday through Friday to the homebound of the Greater Greer area. Fresh meals are prepared in our
kitchen, then picked up by volunteer drivers who deliver these warm meals and a familiar face. |
Volunteers are needed to deliver or package meals. Ask about driving one of our 18 MOW routes and receive the blessing of touching another's life. You could be the only smiling face they see that day.
Can't commit to a weekly, biweekly, or monthly route? Then ask about being a substitute driver. Contact our MOW Coordinator (lteems@gcminc.org) with any questions. |
